I remember the first time I tried Fried Oreos. I was at the State Fair and they were so amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever had a cookie that was fried before. The first bite tasted like Heaven to me. It was like eating a warm donut filled with cream, but I also thought to myself “Why pay $6 for two cookies when I could make them myself” so of course I went home and made them. To keep it simple and easy for you, just use your favorite pancakes mix for your batter to dip the cookie in.

1 pack of Oreos
1-2 Cup Pancake mix
- Equipment you may need
Deep saucepan or Deep Fryer
- In saucepan or deep fryer, add oil on medium high heat. Check to see if oil is hot by waving hand across, feeling a warm air or by placing a wooden spoon, handle first to bottom of pan to see if bubbles rise.
- Mix together pancake mix and water until well combined. It should be a thick consistency.
- Once oil is hot enough, dip cookie into pancake mix, covering all sides. Once covered, lightly drop into pan on each side for 20-30 seconds. Turning on each side until golden brown. Repeat process. Once you’ve made enough, set aside.
